I found this news article about Tim Johnson and his new-found desire to raise awareness for biking and bicycle safety!!

“I realized that bikes are a big part of my life. I was fortunate to be able to ride as a kid, but it scares me to think of how many people…don’t have that same opportunity.”

Last year Tim Johnson and Richard Fries, decided to organize a ride to help raise awareness for biking.

In two days, Tim Johnson’s Ride On Washinton will begin the second annual 5 day trek from Boston to DC.

According to the Ride On Washington website, “Anyone is welcome to join us along the way” though you will be required to take care of your own logistics, food and lodging along the way.

Very cool! Since I know a few of our followers live in/around Boston, I just thought I’d share this for you guys! :)
